What's the difference between training staff on AI and actually building AI into how a business runs?

Short answer
Training changes what your team knows. Implementation changes what your business does. After a workshop, people leave excited, then Monday arrives and everyone works the same way. Implementation wires AI into real workflows, writes down the knowledge it needs, and trains the team on systems that exist inside their own business.
Do this week
If someone pitches you AI training, ask how your business will run differently the day after. No answer means you're buying a nice afternoon.

What's the difference between training staff on AI and actually building AI into the business?
Training changes what your team knows. AI implementation changes what your business does. And they are not the same. A workshop is great. Everybody leaves a workshop feeling pumped. They're excited about this new toy that they have, this new capability, and then Monday rolls around and everybody's doing the same work the same way. Nothing has actually changed.
When you're talking about AI implementation, that's different. Now, AI is wired into the process. It's wired into a workflow. The knowledge that it needs is written down and codified, and your team gets trained on the thing that actually exists inside your business.
Now, we train teams constantly. That's a big part of what we do. But it's only alongside shipping actual workflows based on their real business. The training sticks because there's a real use case for it. If the only use case for your AI is some imaginary thing, it just stays a toy. It doesn't become part of the business.
If someone is pitching you AI training, ask one question: how is my business going to be running differently the day after? If they don't have an answer, then you're just buying a nice afternoon.
